| Comment | I am in favour of strikes, but I don't think increasing the salary of mostly public workers will solve it. If that were to happen, then inflation would go even higher, and more people in low salary jobs would be left behind.
What's the solution? IMO nationalisation of key industries, and capping the prices.
If prices of energy go up, and you increase the pay of public workers, then basically you are giving to the energy CEOs tax money to increase their profits. The solution is not for the government to pay the difference between what we can pay and what they want, but to limit what they want. |
