Yea but after the demand is actually lower, a 5% tax on empty properties like they have in Copenhagen should sort that.
You can't force down the cost of housing if it actually costs that much because you'd be getting something for nothing kinda thing, but when the landlords have no excuse it will be much easier to sort out.
