| Comment | Thing I hate most about these people is that they THINK they are pro-life, when they’re actually pro-BIRTH. They only care about the fact that the foetus should be born. They they just do not care about the then child (the life) being cared for, fed, clothed, educated. They don’t care if that new life has no quality of life, nowhere safe to be raised in, etc.
As George Carlin said: “Pro-life conservatives are obsessed with the foetus from conception to nine months, but after that, they don’t want to know about you and they don’t want to hear from you. No nothing. No neonatal care, no daycare, no head start, no school lunch, no food stamps, no welfare, no nothing. If you’re pre-born, you’re fine. If you’re pre-school, you’re f****d”.
They should be arrested for breach of the peace and from attempting to stop women from getting the care they need and are entitled to.
Incidentally, I’m a Christian (just probably not a good one and pretty liberal too), so I am really hoping these middle-aged right-wingers aren’t waving any bibles about. Because it makes me ashamed to call myself a Christian in that case. |
