| Comment | I think specifically the fact that out of a crowd which wasn’t filled with bald white men that it was only bald white men that were singled out.
As I’ve said previously here, the image of the angry bald white man has largely fed the gammon stereotype especially when concerning social issues.
They could easily have been described as ‘the idiots with the signs’ or ‘the crowd outside the clinic’.
It’s like Tommy Robinson singling out only the Asian groomers because it plays into a stereotype.
Do you honestly think if 2 of that crowd were black that the post would have highlighted that as a relevant point? |
