Women and men have a part to play in solving this issue. It’s a biological fact. If the state has created this problem then it is caused indirectly by changes in a woman’s life throughout the previous decades. The reason I say this is because women have become empowered and continue to do so as time goes on. This is a good thing of course. Women more and more are choosing not to do the ‘traditional’ thing and raise a family from a younger age. Instead they are pursuing further education and careers that previously were not available. Many choose not to raise families or do so much later in life which directly increases the age of the population. It is a problem for most of the west and as religion dies across the planet and women become empowered elsewhere it will become a world problem. There may come a point when the average age becomes high enough that populations will begin to decline. |
