| Comment | Had Martin & Co. when I stayed in Paisley for uni. The following things were issues:
Told me they'd clean the flat professionally before I moved in. They didn't. I did complain about this and they eventually got it done (took about 2 weeks).
Told me I could change from a top-up meter to direct debit. Didn't happen as the landlord said no.
Told me they'd fix my window that was warped and making the flat freezing as it let out all the heat. They took soooooo long my lease was actually up when they fixed it and I moved out anyway. Took them over 5 months to fix this issue.
They delayed me getting my deposit back by failing to tell me about the deposit scheme thing (forget what it's actually called). After some research I was able to get it back.
Maybe if I had been a bit more street smart it would've been better. As a 30 year old professional moaner, I'm now confident in calling out shite. It might just have been rubbish staff.
