You might be thinking of some proposals that came and went for further west along the river, near the Kingston Bridge? It's become a bit of a tried and tested technique, to float speculative development plans to stir interest and valuations of sites. Only to then abandon the plans and continue sitting in the land as the value continues to rise. That's been the story of much of the north bank of the river for the last 50 years. |
