| Comment | As far as I understand it, CAMHS is part of the NHS and LifeLink is a charity that provides therapy, etc.
I don’t have any experience with LifeLink but a family member was referred to CAMHS after experiencing some trauma. CAMHS assessed them and referred them onto another charity for therapy.
While the family member was actually seen by a psychologist at CAMHS, they ultimately just assessed the situation and recommended a service they thought would help. It sounds like they might have made the recommendation for you simply by reading your notes.
It might be worthwhile reaching out to LifeLink and speaking to them about what they can offer. |
