It also depends how much you’re looking to spend and what kind of property you are looking for? A house or a flat?
Shawlands/Southside is nice but a bit overrated and overpriced IMO and is a bit of a hit or miss with who you end up with as neighbours. You need to choose carefully especially if you have a car and need to get parked. My friends who live there constantly have issues getting parked, I’ve seen myself going to visit and giving up after driving around for half an hour trying to get a space. They often go to leave for work in the morning and can’t get out of where they have parked because someone else has come along and parked so close. |
