Aye, it essentially locks you in to not get another rise for a year, letting you know where you are and how much to budget for at least the next 12 months.


If you think you are paying over the odds OP go and look at the letting market and see what the going rate is. When I got the place I am staying in it was probably a bit over valued but if we left I am sure my landlord could get an extra £150 a month out the property.
