Shite as in it's hard enough trying to save for a deposit in a world where inflation is through the roof and wages in real terms are decreasing year on year. Also, potentially having to pay >10% above the home report value; like we all have a spare £20k just lying around to cover this!

Anyway, I'm from a working class background and I did all the right things I was told to when I was younger, e.g. stick in at school, go to university and get a professional career etc., but still, just trying to get by and have a reasonably comfortable life these days is becoming increasingly difficult. Don't get me wrong I've had opportunities that a lot of others haven't, which I'm hugely grateful for and don't take for granted. However, the future looks pretty beak for our generation, and the only folk who seem to be benefitting from this mess are the same ones who keep fucking it up in the first place whilst coincidently getting richer at the same time.

Apologies for the rant, I had to get that off my chest.
