Well from what I've seen house prices are still mental. Ex-council 2 bed end terraced house which I would say needs a new bathroom, kitchen and every room modernised had a home report value of £110k, was listed at offers over £100k and closed last week at £136.5k. Crazy money. Good news for me as I'm selling essentially the same type of house I have on the same street and was expecting maybe 90-95k for it but same valuer that done the other house I mentioned reckons it'll home report at £120k and expect to sell for £140+.

Looking at the historical sales data the valuer left me closing prices are pretty much double what they were 8-10 years ago. Honestly, speaking as someone with a teenage daughter, the younger generations are pretty much fucked for getting on the property ladder unless things change drastically!
