| Comment | Are you properly moving to larkhall or just the general area? Places like Stonehouse, Ashgill and the like have larkhall postcodes but are not larkhall.
I grew up nearby - done placements in the school, ive got family in the town. It's fine. It's a typical wee scottish town with some nicer bits now and some decent estates. There are some rough bits aye, but just be sensible like you would be anywhere.
It's got good transport and is right on the M74 which is perfect for escaping.
The 12th of July is hell. Just don't go out, or go away for the weekend (and the evening before the marches when they do their practices).
Contrary to popular belief there are celtic supporters, Catholic schools and chapels in larkhall.
You'll be fine. There are worse places to live. Like Bridgeton. |
