I cycle through it lots. Busy wee high street. Good few supermarkets. Good cycling roads if you like that sorta thing. Never seen any trouble really. Has a reputation for being a rangers town but like anywhere, if you keep yourself to yourself you probably won't see any of that.
Train Into town can be quite costly if you're commuting for work.
