On the one hand some folk will want to leave them out so they don’t miss getting collected if the bin men happen to come back for an extra round the day after the strike ends.
On the other hand, I think it’s more likely they will just come on the next usual collection day, by which time there will be up to 6 weeks of rubbish to get rid of. If you leave your bins out the neighbours will all be putting stuff in each other’s bins, filling yours up when you might need the space. Bin wars!
Serious question is: does anyone know if they will put on extra collections to catch up on the ones that have been missed? |
