| Comment | I had checked the belt, but not the capacitor. I took it apart and, well, then I realised my mistake. Both my belt, and the belt I'd replaced it with were the same length, which is strange as I did the belt a while ago when it got too loose. So I order one, pop it on, and yeah, I replaced one knackered belt with another knackered belt.

So, all works now, and I feel like a right dafty.
