Half my office is having it and I brought mine from abroad a week ago. Hang in there!
Unfortunately the advice is the usual from the doctors: rest, warm fluids etc. Get throat soothing things from boots, they all do help!
The doctor might only give you antibiotics if you have the fever for longer than a week.
