I assume he has refugee or asylum seeker status? I highly recommend he attend the ESOL school at St Aloysius in Garnethill. He can learn English there and get help with lots of other things as well. There is at least one Vietnamese student at the school. It is free and he will get the opportunity to speak with a preist if he wants to. Make sure he is vaccinated before he comes. He can just turn up. He should come to the Ogilve centre which is next to the church at 10am on a weekday during term time. Lessons last until noon. |
