So the problem with this logic is that large landlords- with stacks of property- also tend to have large stacks of cash and they can outbid most first time buyers/folk who just want a home.
So we go from small time landlords to large conglomerates, many of whom are maximising their ££££ by putting the property on Airbnb/managed apartments rather than for your average renter.
