| Comment | Been a biker for 30 years and now a car driver at the ripe old age of 48 for a few months and always give cyclists the space they need on the road. However there's a fair amount of pure fannies on bicycles out there as well.
Thanks to one of said fannies I've now got a scratch on my previously totally minted ZH2 cause the fud decided to slide down the inside of me while I was sitting waiting to turn left on the lights and he lost his balance / footing and toppled into the side of me. Thankfully didn't take me down but when I parked up later noticed a gouge in the sc intake cowl that could only have come from him. That was today at the junction of Mill St & Burnhill Rd / Ruggy Main St.
If said fanny happens to read this then well done you total bellend. Gloss plastic panel that will no doubt cost a stupid amount to replace.
Indicator on, sitting well left of centre and yet the clown who went straight on decided sitting to my left was a better idea than to my right which he had plenty of space to do.
There's no question there's a lot of decent considerate cyclists out there but I honestly do think percentage wise there's a much higher % of cyclists who are dangerous / inconsiderate on the roads than there are car drivers (as a % of the total on the road obviously) or bikers. |
