| Comment | Last year I cycled into Edinburgh following the national cycle route, it was going well until I got way past Livingstone and there was this road only part, a few miles out of Edinburgh, that was literally up a steepish hill on a country road with no pavement/path. I was really tired from my long cycle and struggled to climb the hill. I had to get off and push the bike on this really dodgy road, i didn't like it at all. This was supposed to be a NCR too but it would have been nice to have a pavement option on that part just for safety reasons. |
