Ah ok, I haven't analysed it in the detail that you have :)

1. Yes it does seem to come to an abrupt end near Maryhill Road. I normally use that path to go to Firhill and beyond up North so jump up on to the canal. I will look at the lights next time. Me and my pal sometimes go to the Botany on Maryhill Road. He does not like cycling on the road so the route is up Garscube then the canal then down at Murano student bridge. The slope down at that bridge is a disgrace. It needs to be ripped up and start again.
2. Yes I have noticed that. The implementation of the cycle way makes the whole junction more complicated and even for cyclists who visit the first time they must think, oh what happens here then. Car drivers don't realise that there are dedicated bike signals and jumping them is far more dangerous. Hit a car then everyone usually walks away. Not the same for cyclists.
3. Yeh bang on I have seen that too but also elsewhere like Victoria Road. It's just driver education. In all fairness I think many drivers can't get their head around the fact that they need to give way twice. Once for the cyclists and once for the main carriageway and both at the same time. Must be a brain overload thing! Some drivers when they realise what they have done are apologetic or reverse back.

Yeh Bilsland drive is a shocker. Whoever designed that needs their head examined. The amount of shite is the first issue then those huge humps at the bus stops with swimming pool size puddles at each end!
