Along with the energy bills going up to a ridiculous rate, there's also recently been a real struggle to find places to rent so you'd probably either have to pay a huge amount to live in the city, or you'll need to look outside of Glasgow and commute into the city. You could probably make it work with 25-30k but it will be tight so you may need to watch your spending. Rent along with the bills and council tax will be your biggest chunk of money each month.
