Charge place Scotland currently are mostly free but usually are busy where I am.
Rapid chargers at most providers vary between 45p - 55p per kWh and Slow chargers around 35-45p.
Range and charging time are dependent on what size of battery your car has.
For example my battery is 64kwh. At a 50kw rapid charger it will charge to 80-90% in about an hour giving me about 220 miles. If I plug in at a 7kw charger then it will take about 8 hours to get to the same levels. I am fortunate I have the home charger now but I used the public charging network for about 8 months and managed ok. |
