| Comment | There are people from different cultural backgrounds who feel uncomfortable in a pub. There are people battling addiction who are uncomfortable in a place where alcohol is sold. As a woman who A) drinks alcohol and B) has travelled by herself a fair bit, I still don’t feel entirely comfortable walking into a pub/bar in the evening on my own.
Pubs are not the only place in the world where people can meet. |
