I said many times I'd happily surrender my penshion each month as it actually hinders more than it benefits me, like alot especually as i have two kids. I don't know if your aware but if you are struggling you can apply to several charities for ex service people. Poppy Scotland, SAFFA, helping hero's, Glasgow helping hero's and the British legion.
