Has the GP referred her to the chronic pain team? At this point they will quite possibly not continue looking for what is causing the pain because the current thinking is that nothing is broken as such. The focus is on managing the pain and making your life as good as it can be.

I'm in a fairly similar boat (10 years post chemo etc) - medicinal cannabis isn't an option for me because I drive and my focus is on keeping in work above all else. I've used weed in the past but it's not a long term option for me.

Has she been down the chronic pain team route? Tried physio? Done the (terrible) pain management course?

The pain team have a few avenues to explore if she can get a referral there.

I'm sorry, it sucks.

ETA: feel free to send me a message. The thing I find most helpful is it being reinforced that it's completely understandable to be in pain this far out. A lot of people don't understand the toll cancer, chemo and surgery take on your body.
