Depends what you want to get out of it. CompSci as a degree by itself isn't going to get you a job in that field - they'll be more interested in your contributions to open source software, projects you've done, etc.

That said, I've done uni twice (once on campus once distance-based) and loved it not so much for the specific contents of the courses but for the way it made me think, the skills it taught me in logic and critical thinking, and obviously the pals I made and experiences I had - those were the things that got me into my job more than the degree itself.

So if you want to get those skills above and beyond what you'd learn just by reading up on shit online, absolutely uni's worth it, just don't expect simply holding the piece of paper to get you the job by itself.

Obviously it's also possible to do with a part-time job. Having done full-time uni with part-time work, and full-time work with part-time uni, just be prepared to be exhausted and balance your time - though that said it's also good evidence of time-management for when you go for a job after graduation if you can show you've pulled both off.
