Saying that, if CompSci is your passion, you don't necessarily need a a degree anymore. There's apprenticeship [options available](https://apprenticeships.qa.com/vacancy-search#vacancyform), though your salary will start a fraction of a 4-year degree holder.

You can also go to City of Glasgow college for the first two years (from my experience, the college workload for comp is only 18 hours contact a week, plenty of time for a job) and then do the final two at GCU. |
