Yeh I would broadly agree with that route. It really depends where in Knightswood the OP lives but the canal is key to getting to the uni vet school. The issue with Old Farm Road is that it is so steep. It all depends on the OP level of fitness. Good use of the gears will be needed to get up there. All the uphill is over a much shorter distance. Personally I would recommend using the pavements on Bearsden Road. There are very few pedestrians and it’s much safer. Unfortunately going anywhere North in Glasgow usually entails a few hills. The incline can be spread out by continuing on the canal to the next bridge. Off the path then over the canal on Howth Drive then through the housing estate and left on Bearsden Road. Up the hill then cross at the pedestrian lights. Left again up to the South Gate of the campus. All downhill from there. Good luck finding what you want in there. It’s a maze!
