They aren't correct in any meaningful sense, a lot of paths are just shared paths and there are plenty of places where cycling on the path is the only sensible route.

The junction at Charing Cross where the cycle path ends, both ends of Sauchiehall, one of which is 8 lanes of one way road traffic and the other end that is pedestrianised + Buchanan Street.

Cycling on paths there is the only sensible option and the police will not bother you, only cranks
