It has already been reasonably established that the OP's route may involve cycling for a short distance up Bearsden Road which is a 40 zone uphill with no provision for cyclists. It's not fun. I live in that area and it despairs me how many drivers in their big SUV's come tearing up and down that road. I am experienced and I use the pavement at times as it's always pretty deed. Not a common walking route for anyone. There has to be a balance between safety and the law. |
