| Comment | I live alone in Kinning Park and pay £475 for a one bed flat. Have done since I was on 18k per year, which was tight but manageable. Bills take me up to about £750, that’s rent, council tax, mobile, WiFi, electricity, gas, TV. Food is then about £150 on top of that. I don’t drive, so you’ll have to factor in insurance, petrol etc.
It might be a bit of a shock for you going from £900 to yourself and your car every month to nearer £500, but it’s certainly doable. |
