Have the supermarkets just given up and stopped playing radio? I haven't really noticed. Normally they would never play anything sad because a happy customer will spend more (according to research Asda carried out on monkeys.) But they can't keep playing the same upbeat hits about making sexy time and happy dancing joy joys as they would be accused of being insensitive by the mourning police. So they're kind of stuck. |
