I used to get offended by people talking about how bad Scotland's food is but it really is awful. You can eat nicely but it take a real effort.
Go to any children's entertainment / softplay type place in Glasgow and try and play spot the vegetable, 99% of the food is fried to the point where the one up maryhill smells like a deep far frier throughout
