| Comment | I've taken to not tapping off (to avoid the fuss of it when I'm getting off the bus) and it seems to have no discernible effect on what I'm charged.
If you're taking short journeys under 5 stops, and so only costing £1.85 per trip or whatever it is, I'd make sure to swipe off so you're not charged the full £2.65. But otherwise, there's no real need to bother tapping off.
I find it pretty useful overall to be honest. |
