no evictions for any reason + freeze on rents will have the opposite effect the government want for us renters
landlords will build into their rent the increase to offset the fact they cant increase later + no evictions mean landlords will be insanely stringent on who they rent too and will always take the folk offering 6/12 months rent upfront over the vast majority of us
it'll get worse as the number of rental properties seem to be decreasing so it'll get worse
if you can get a place don't hesitate, the next person in the queue wont |
