Depending on which part of Texas they're from, it may be just like home. Despite the perception of Texas being arid scrubland, east Texas (at least as far as a friend from the area tells me) gets something like 60 inches of rain a year.

Imagine that sort of rain with an average summer temp of 25-30 degrees. Pure fucking swamp.
