I’m so sorry to hear that you are having issues finding a job. There are heaps of avenues that can help you get started, even if it’s just a job to help keep you a float while you look for something else.
I would start by getting someone to go over your CV and an example cover letter. This can be someone you know and trust who is good with words, or a professional from a company which helps with getting you started. In Glasgow there are businesses like skills development Scotland who would be really happy to help you with this.
