| Comment | There is a huge number of people in Glasgow who either don't care about royalty, or actually feel disdain towards them. Many of those people will have the day off, and many of them will decide to spend their day doing anything other than watching this on TV. Some pubs, restaurants and activities will cater to this.
If I know anything about Glasgow, there will also be some pubs showing the funeral on TV and celebrating/mourning the Queen. Some will attend that.
There will be more closures than usual, but Glasgow won't be a ghost town. |
