Looking at the news today some big name chain stores like Aldi, B&Q, John Lewis and Sainsburys are closing on the day. I think it's fair to say that most other shops will follow suit. This is likely to include public attractions so in essence I think almost everywhere in Glasgow will be shut. The exceptions are likely to be pubs and convenience stores. Public transport is still operating. I wonder if Tim Martin will close all of the Wetherspoons pubs on the day?
