I commented before thinking. Showers can be tricky because of the small pipes and shallow draining angles involved. But you can be pretty certain the blockage is caused by hair. A strong acid solution is probably your best bet unless your shower-tray can be lifted without too much grief. You can get it for under a tenner - obviously wear gloves and stuff.
