| Comment | The picture is of a parking meter token. The Parking Attendents have special coins that they use to test that the pay and display machine is in working order before they issue a PCN. All they are demonstrating here is that the machine was working at the the time you were parked there. Their machines are logged into the street they are checking, so if they've put your reg in to check for payment on Ringo, it won't come up if you've paid on another street. It's crap as you have paid and its been an honest mistake, but the Council will likely not budge. No harm in appealing though. I believe (though don't take my word for it) that the reduced amount of £30 stands while they consider your initial appeal. |
