My Aunt lived in Scotland til she was 14, moved to England, married an American and moved over there for 10 years. She sounds Irish. Accents are a weird one.

I have cousins who adapt their accents depending on who they are speaking to, at home with parents, normal Scottish accent, at home with their own kids or freinds, English accent. Always found that a bit strange. These kids left Scotland at 4 and 5. Other family members despite living in England for much longer than they ever lived up here still have broad Glaswegian accents.

It's perfectly normal to pick up speaking habits etc from being around people for a long time.
