| Comment | Reminds me how i lived in an apartment in japan, and started hearing thwacking noises late at night. At first i just thought it was the building- they have to be a little bit creaky because of earthquakes over there- but then i noticed the thwacks were coming in groups of three. Pretty sure my neighbours had bought a dartboard and were playing right behind my head.
I just moved to glasgow a few weeks ago from edinburgh. Had a few funny noises, including a pub across the street that does karaoke on saturdays (excruciating to hear), and last night i had people buzzing on my doorbell at 2am (mistook me for another flat??), but whatever it is it beats my mum's place in edinburgh, which is right by an ambulance route. Sirens fucking constantly at all hours, since it's also by a crossroads where the ambulances can't see round the corner. |
