I was in the motor trade (after sales) for 12 years so maybe just because I’m exposed to it, but I think it’s by far the worst industry I’ve dealt with in terms of customer service. They don’t seem to be trained in the basics of it all.

My wife worked for AC years ago and got 100% in Her mystery shopper call (I believe she was the first to do so) and when the customer service trainer came in weeks later as routine she got pulled up for being ‘too friendly’ she prided herself on doing what she promised customers, and they appreciated it so bought her gifts like chocolate etc, apparently this was a
No go.
