Just wanted to add to this by saying that doing something you used to love can feel really weird and unnatural. When I was in a really bad place I just couldn’t enjoy anything, everything felt like a chore even things I thought I loved. This weirdly made me feel even worse because I saw it as a sign that it really wasn’t worth living if I can’t even find enjoyment in the things I thought I’d love. I thought I was the problem. I did two things to get through it: one was give watever it was I was doing a bit of time to fall back in love with it. It might not be instant and you might actually need to make yourself do it. So I had given some of my old hobbies a fair go and I was still struggling, then I realised that it’s totally ok to outgrow hobbies and things, sometimes even friends! So what I did next was just try something completely different and new. So in the end I ended up rekindling my love for some old hobbies, dropping others entirely and getting totally into something new.
Hope this helps!
