| Comment | I was in Walkabout with a pal and complained about how shite it was, fir example waiting ages to get served a pint in a hot glass fresh out the wash. He suggested we go on a "Shite Pub Crawl", so we went to every pish looking pub we came across. Alpen Lodge was among them. We ended up staying for a couple of hours and it's now on the itinerary for every night out we have in town. Great wee pub.
