The tunnel network is actually confirmed! It's primarily old mining tunnels, Victoria walkways, sub surface shared heat/hot water systems, and old cold war bunkers which i think gets used as storage by the council now.
Apparently there's a bunker under George Square that was an old nuclear command post for the local government and senior figures to coordinate the recovery if Glasgow or the UK ever came under nuclear strike and communication was cut off from central government. |
