When I lived there my flatmate was over from America and the landlord didn’t care. He doesn’t care about anything as long as you the pay the rent.
I say it’s a mad place because it is, the block is kind of legendary when it comes to parties. At a job interview my interviewer had been to a party there. Would hear that a lot when telling people where I lived. It’s a pretty communal spot with a lot of artists and all that comes with being in the arts…
I ran away in the end because the madness became too much for me, I was starting a full time job and it just wouldn’t be feasible living there - but a young American student may love it.
Rent around £350 and then it would be about trying to find a cash in hand job (which isn’t easy these days - but doable).
